Twenaboa: a medium density timber which is quicker to carve than the hardwoods; makes for great entry level djembes with all the key sounds
Extra thick goat skins serve the same role as cow â€“ perfect for giving duns their powerful voices. Balancing thickness to each drum, a good dun set will have a rich sound range across the drum sizes
