The Classic 60cm Djembe has a 11″ head diameter.
You get the best of both worlds in this drum: A comfortable playing surface and full voice, balanced with a light shell that’s easy to transport and stow. A great djembe for beginner drummers, teenagers, and workshop / groups.
You can choose a light or dark finish. Each drum is unique, so external carvings vary.

The Indo djembe series is crafted by our team in Indonesia, offering quality djembes at affordable prices.
We work closely with our drum makers to produce quality drums, based on our many years of experience in West Africa, our HQ in Australia, and here in New Zealand.
We only offer drums that we love to play ourselves! Our Indo Series djembes are covered under the same warranty as our top shelf African djembes, so you can get them with confidence.
Rope
We use quality high tensile nylon-core yachting rope that wont slip. Good rope allows your djembe to stay tuned for longer, and it requires less ongoing maintenance.
Hides
Our premium goat skins are cleaned naturally, so they retain their natural oils, sound and durability. They sound great!
Shells
Carved from solid sustainably-sourced mahogany. Our shells offer affordability without compromising on quality.
Easy to play
A well-rounded playing edge – our signature Comfort Curve – makes these drums a dream to play.
The ropes and rings are set with plenty of clearance.
