These ocean drums are individually handmade using traditional methods. Slight natural variations in the frame or skin may occur, especially with changes in temperature and humidity. This is a normal part of authentic craftsmanship and does not affect the sound or durability of the instrument.
Hold the frame drum flat and gently tilt it in various directions—the beads inside roll across the surface like water meeting the shore. Varying your speed changes the sound, from gentle tides to crashing surf.
