Tingsha Cymbals
$49.00
Crafted from thick 100% brass, these cymbals produce a clear, bright high-pitched tone when struck together. Their crisp resonance makes them ideal for focused listening and ritual use.
Tingsha are traditional instruments used in Tibetan Buddhist practice, often played to mark the beginning or end of a healing or meditation session. When several pairs are played together, they create a rich and layered sonic texture.

More Details
To play Tingsha, hold them by the cord so the cymbals hang freely, then gently bring one against the other and let it slide off. Adjust the movement to create either a softer tone or a stronger, brighter resonance.
In sound healing practices, instruments like Tingsha are used to encourage relaxation and mindfulness. The vibrations they produce can support meditation and are often associated with improved mood, better sleep, reduced stress, and easier access to meditative states.
