  • The purchaser must make payment within 3 days of purchase.
  • Orders will be dispatched as soon as possible upon payment being received – typically the same/next day.
  • We use 3 different courier/posting services – so we will always find the best price for shipping.
  • While all care is taken, any errors or omissions in product details are unintentional.
  • We reserve the right of discretion in assessing returned items.

New Zealand Customers

Use Shopping Cart for shipping calculations.

Orders are dispatched via either New Zealand Post, Main Freight, or CourierPost from our premises in Hamilton.

Yes – we ship worldwide!

For International customers, please contact us with the item details for Shipping costs.

Sea Mail
Low cost option intended for heavier items up to 20kg, when speed is not a priority.
Estimated delivery time: 2-3 month to zones 4, 6, 7 and 8

Airmail
Standard delivery service for items up to 20kg.
Estimated delivery time : 3-10 business day delivery to metropolitan areas of major cities.

Express Post International
Fast service for items up to 20kg.
Estimated delivery time : 3-7 business day delivery to metropolitan areas of major cities

HOW DO I MAKE A PURCHASE FROM THE AFRICAN DRUMMING ONLINE SHOP?

The easiest way is to:

Follow the prompts in our online shop

– email us (info@africandrumming.co.nz)

– call us on 0211567712 (please quote the item number to assist our staff in your query).

– visit our  SHOP  28 Westvale Lane, R.D.8, Hamilton 3288

– click on the blue “Contact us” (ONLINE CHAT FUNCTION) link at the bottom right hand corner of the page and let us know how you would like to pay.

If you are in New Zealand, we accept credit card or direct deposit. If paying via direct deposit we will respond to your query with our bank details. If you require postage, please include your address in the message so we can provide you with a quote.
For customers outside New Zealand we accept credit card (provided you can prove your identity) or PayPal (with a 3% surcharge).

Our Online team is available to speak with you Monday through Friday 9am to 3:30pm. You can always contact us via our website anytime.

WHAT ARE THE ONLINE PAYMENT OPTIONS?

We accept Paypal, credit card, bank deposit, VISA, MasterCard, EFTPOS, Direct Bank Deposit & Money order.

CAN YOU LET ME KNOW WHEN A PARTICULAR ITEM I’M AFTER IS IN STOCK?

ORDERS

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

You can use NZ Post tracking website here.

CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER?

In the event that you need to change or cancel an order, please call us immediately on 0211567712 or email info@africandrumming.co.nz with your request. If your order has not been packed for shipment, we will do everything possible to make the changes you request. Our goal is to fully process your order within a few hours of receiving it, so changes may not be possible.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

We pride ourselves on same day shipping for orders placed before 3pm.

WHAT IF MY ORDER IS DAMAGED WHEN IT ARRIVES?

POSTAGE & SHIPPING

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Yes, we have International shipping. If you need a quote please provide your post code/zip code or use NZPost calculator.

WHAT POSTAGE COMPANY DO YOU USE?

We use NZ Post and a courier for over sized items.

 

DISCOUNTS

DO YOU HAVE DISCOUNTS FOR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AND ACCEPT PURCHASE ORDERS?

Yes we do.

 

DO YOU HAVE LAY BUY?

We offer a three month lay-by with a minimum 10% deposit.
We can do credit card over the phone or direct deposit. You can also come into our premises any time.

DO YOU SELL GIFT VOUCHERS?

Yes but only for Classes which can be bought Online and in store.

At the moment we are offering single and 6 weeks African Drumming class vouchers only.

 

WARRANTY

WHAT IS YOUR WARRANTY ON ITEMS?

All of our African hand drums are covered under our 5 Month Graduated Warranty – this includes all djembes, dunun and kpalago.

What Isn’t Covered?

What is not covered under warranty? Breakage caused by irresponsible use or accidental damage caused by the customer (like an axe through the hide or dropping from height).

We reserve the right of discretion when assessing the condition of returned drums.

Drumming is our passion. We value the drums we craft and the customers who buy them – it’s what our business is centred around.

Beyond our warranty, we’re only happy when you’re happy. If there is anything amiss with your drum then we are only a call or an email away.
